Eminence Organics Exfoliants: Farm Fresh Ingredients

January 15, 2018

Eminence Organics exfoliants include natural, fresh ingredients like yam, pumpkin, stone crop, strawberries and rhubarb. These same plants can be found here on the Eminence Certified Organic Farm, where organic and biodynamic farming techniques are used to grow nutrient-rich crops. Learn more about the benefits these plants bring to Eminence Organics Skin Care products and why we are so proud of these ingredients.

Enzyme-Rich Pumpkin And Yam

Through organic practices on the farm, we are able to grow beautiful crops without the use of harmful chemical fertilizers, insecticides or herbicides. These same practices are used on all farms that grow ingredients for Eminence Organics products, resulting in highly nutritious produce, picked at the peak of freshness. For example, the pumpkin and yam found in the Eminence Organics Yam & Pumpkin Enzyme Peel 5% is rich in skin-smoothing enzymes and vitamins resulting in a bright and toned-looking complexion. Typically harvested on the farm during the late summer and early fall, pumpkin makes a fantastic treat as well, with pumpkin juice and seeds being a favorite childhood snack of Eminence Organics company president, Boldijarre Koronczay.

Because of the high concentrations of Vitamins C, A and antioxidants, organically grown pumpkin and yam have a positive impact on your complexion both when eaten and when used in skin care treatments. In the Yam & Pumpkin Enzyme Peel, these farm fresh ingredients will gently refine and slough off dead skin without any down time – an amazing option for those looking for a chemical Eminence Organics exfoliant.

Smoothing And Soothing With Stone Crop

Stone crop grows in abundance on the Eminence Certified Organic Farm and is amazing for a wide array of reasons. On the farm, stone crop is used to help attract bees and butterflies, ensuring our plants are healthy and well pollinated. In skin care, stone crop is used to help deep clean and hydrate the complexion, leaving a fresh, healthy-looking glow. Stone crop is used in Eminence Organics Stone Crop Oxygenating Fizzofoliant, an award-winning exfoliant that harnesses the healing properties of the stone crop plant.

Because of its soothing qualities, stone crop is the perfect addition to an exfoliating treatment as it helps reduce any redness caused by dryness in the skin. To learn more about stone crop, including some Hungarian folklore, watch Eminence Organics Lead Skin Care Trainer Natalie Pergar in the video below.

Toning and Brightening With Strawberry And Rhubarb

Both grown on the farm, strawberries and rhubarb contain healthy acids, vitamins and antioxidants. When harvested, these potent fruits are sold at local farmers markets, cold-pressed into juice for the Eminence Kids Foundation’s Hungarian partner and blended into Eminence Organic Skin Care products – with any extra used for compost to fertilize the soil. Taking skin care from farm to face is something we are passionate about, with Eminence Organics products using only the highest quality, home grown ingredients.

Winner of the 2017 NewBeauty Beauty Choice Award for “Best ‘Farm to Table’ Skin Care Product”, Eminence Organics Strawberry Rhubarb Dermafoliant harnesses organic strawberries and rhubarb to brighten the skin and fight the look of wrinkles. The salicylic acid found naturally in strawberries tones the skin while shrinking pores. With high concentrations of Vitamin C, the rhubarb in this exfoliant helps minimize the appearance of fine lines and brightens the complexion.

Still need some guidance on how to use these farm fresh Eminence Organics exfoliants? Watch this video from the Eminence Organic Skin Care YouTube channel where Natalie explains how to exfoliate, what to use for your skin type and how these amazing natural ingredients benefit the skin.
