After decades of processed foods, mass production and urban living, food culture pushed back with a movement to reconnect the people with the land. Based on the same philosophy, the farm to face trend grew in popularity in the skin care space. Today, this trend is rebuilding awareness around the origins of skin care products, placing importance on pure, honest ingredients that spring from the soil.

In fact, one of our staff at the farm, Matyas Nemes, won Hungary’s Organic Farmer Of The Year by the Biokultura Association. Each one of our organic products carries organic certification by Biokontroll in Hungary, our US-made products by USDA and our Biodynamic®  products by Demeter International. Our passion for organic means that we opt out of all parabens, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfates and propylene glycol. Not only do we work with the purest natural, organic and Biodynamic®  ingredients at Eminence Organics, we also make sure we avoid any harsh and harmful chemicals.

Home Grown Ingredients

Look closely at an Eminence Organics mask and you might find fresh pulp, seeds and even bits of peel. Depending on the harvest, products can occasionally vary from batch to batch, reflecting the raw, natural state of the ingredients. And because the products are hand crafted from just-picked raw plants, fruit, flowers and vegetables, it isn’t unusual to see a slight change in their color and consistency.

Knowing the importance of the provenance of our ingredients in Hungary, we make sure we guide the process from harvest to product. Home grown ingredients sourced at the Certified Organic Farm and other organic farms are picked at peak ripeness for super-charged nutrient value then blended into our skin care products. The results: Highly concentrated products straight from nature.

Small Batch Skin Care

Another key quality of farm to face skin care is small batch production for optimal freshness. You won’t find mass production at Eminence Organics. For our products created in Hungary, all ingredients arrive at the laboratory where they are carefully processed by hand. We avoid heat and hydrogenation, ensuring that the products preserve their maximum nutritional content. After processing, each jar is painstakingly filled, sealed and packaged by hand.

Stone crop is one of the most popular, signature ingredients at Eminence Organics. Known for its unique growing environment, which is extremely drought-tolerant, this plant flourishes on small stones or even green roofs, with minimal soil needed. Its water-rich leaves can benefit the skin in brightening, rejuvenating and even healing. Often used for uneven skin tones, the stone crop ingredient can help with hyperpigmentation and give skin a smoother appearance. It also contains powerful antioxidants to fight off aging free radicals and refresh the skin.

How we use this ingredient: At Eminence Organics, we take full advantage of this plant’s ability to retain moisture and hydrate the skin beautifully. You’ll find this sturdy plant in the popular Stone Crop Gel Wash, as well as the Stone Crop Masque. Rhubarb

A powerful rehydrator for dry skin, we grow rhubarb at the Certified Organic Farm for products like Eminence Organics Strawberry Rhubarb Hyaluronic Serum, designed to give your skin a youthful looking glow. Pumpkin

Harvested at the Certified Organic Farm, pumpkins are always a fall favorite for skin care.
