The Eminence Certified Organic Farm is currently closed for the season! Please check back in the Spring for opening dates.
The Eminence Certified Organic Farm is located in the Hungarian countryside, about three hours away from Budapest. We feature hundreds of certified organic plants and beautiful, traditional Hungarian farm buildings. Tours are available seasonally (after all, there’s not much to see in the wintry snow landscape!) and each tour lasts approximately 90 minutes. The farm is typically open for public tours starting in May until early September.
Our family-friendly tours are available in English and Hungarian. This certified organic farm was designed by Eminence Organic Skin Care to be visitor-friendly, safe, wheelchair accessible and available to all ages. Tours are free but we do require reservations. Continue reading to find out more!
What You'll See
Explore each traditional Hungarian farm feature, including our antique grape press, lángos oven, chicken coop and hen house. We also have a dozens of fruit, herb and vegetable plant varietals grown in accordance with the seasons. Relax by our lily pond, rest in the shade beneath handmade thatch roofs and admire the bounty of this abundant land.
What to Wear
We recommend tour guests to dress in layers (the weather can change quickly at the farm, regardless of the forecast) and to wear comfortable, flat, closed-toe shoes. Sun protection is the key, even on cloudy days! Hats, long sleeves and a natural SPF is recommended.
What To Bring
Definitely your camera! The one-of-a-kind experience is something you’ll want to remember forever and share with friends and family around the world. You may also bring non-alcoholic drinks, food and even a blanket if you’d like to have a picnic lunch on one of our many open, grassy spaces.
Policies
- A valid email, contact and working international phone number is required to book a tour. We will call you in advance of your scheduled tour to confirm the reservation.
- In the instance of inclement or severe weather, we may need to reschedule tours. We will provide 24-hour notice of any cancellations.
- Should you need to cancel a tour for any reason, we kindly ask for 24-hour notice as well. Private, group tours may be requested in advance.

How long should I plan for a tour visit?
We recommend allotting 8 hours for a trip to the farm, include travel time to and from Budapest city center.
How do I arrange transportation?
You may reserve a taxi, private car or rent a car. We do not provide transportation to and from the farm to any locations.
What is the closest nearby town?
The nearest town is the village of Fülöpjakab. This is the easiest way to provide an approximate location using Google maps or GPS. Although Google directions advise 1-1.5 hours drive time, we strongly recommend allotting 3 hours to allow for traffic and unexpected travel delays.
Do you serve food?
While our wood-burning lángos oven can be used for special events, the certified organic farm does not have an on-site restaurant or catering available. There is one restaurant in Fülöpjakab, or you may pack any food you like.
Will I have cell phone service?
The Eminence Certified Organic Farm is located in the rural Hungarian countryside. Cell phone service is intermittent.
Will my GPS work?
Once you reach the Hungarian farmlands, your GPS directions may not be able to connect to satellite for live guidance. We strongly recommend using a printed map and studying your route in advance.
Where is your farm located?
Our farm is located on the main road next to the main road between Jakabszállás es Kunszállás. The street is Csuka Dűlő Utca.
Do you have onsite medical services?
We do have a standard first aid kit at the farm, but we do not offer onsite medical service. Emergency medical services may be contacted if needed.
What if I have allergies?
If you have environmental allergies, plan as you would for any day outside. We do not offer allergy medication.
Can I buy Eminence Organic Skin Care products on the tour?
This certified organic farm is not-for-profit, so no items are available for purchase.
Will I see Eminence Organic Skin Care products being made?
Our products are made in safe, controlled and sanitary environments located nearby. We do not manufacture our products on-site at the farm.
What plants will I see?
We work closely with our farmers to plant crops harmoniously with the seasons. The plants showcased on this website are just a small portion of what we have grown over the years and may change without notification at any time.
How do I make a reservation?
