Fallow Field
Our organic farming methods are designed in harmony with the earth and the seasons. Here at Eminence Organic Skin Care, that means we give our earth time to rest, restore and refresh by keeping different fields of the farm “unplanted” or “fallow” during different times of the year.
Natural Soils
We didn’t import any dirt for our organic farm. You’ll notice that the dirt here looks very light, like silt or soft sand. Well, that’s because this area of Hungary was once completely underwater.

The Tilling Process
Each season, our farmers harvest all plants completely. Then, organic fertilizer and the rich compost is placed on top of the new soil. After that, the hard work begins! Farmers hand-turn the compost into the soil using shovels, hoes and rakes. Then, the field is left to rebuild strength for several weeks until it’s time to plant the next season.
